How My Job Fixer Works
Start with a job you want. My Job Fixer compares your CV with that role, shows you what is already strong, helps you improve what can be improved, then guides you towards a stronger application and interview. You do not need to learn every tool first — just follow the steps.

Your simple route from CV to interview
Work through these in order the first time. After that, My Job Fixer will help you move backwards or forwards whenever you need to.
Choose the job you want
Add or select a real vacancy as your Target Job. Include the full job description when you can. This gives My Job Fixer something specific to compare your CV against.
Check your latest CV against that job
Upload or paste your latest CV and run the Role Gap Score. You will see four separate scores for Experience, Skills, Qualifications and CV Alignment, plus a practical Job Fix Plan.
Your score is guidance, not a prediction of whether an employer will hire you.
Fix what can be fixed
If your experience is already there but your CV does not show it clearly, use Fix My CV. If there is a genuine skills or qualification gap, use Build My Skills. Some experience gaps need real evidence or future experience rather than different wording.
Re-check your progress
After making useful changes, use Score With Latest CV. My Job Fixer compares the new result with your previous assessment and highlights meaningful progress instead of making you chase tiny score changes.

Prepare the application
When your CV is ready, use your Target Job and genuine career evidence to prepare a tailored CV, cover letter, supporting statement, personal statement or application-form answer.
Prepare for the interview
Work through likely questions, strengthen your evidence-based answers, practise STAR examples and use mock interview tools to prepare before the real conversation.
What is a Working CV?
When you add a CV during Gap Analysis, you decide whether My Job Fixer should use that same CV automatically in the other tools.
Set as Working CV
Your privacy-cleaned CV is kept temporarily in this browser tab and can be loaded automatically into Fix My CV, Re-score, Prepare My Application and Prepare for Interview. When it is auto-loaded you will see the badge Latest Working CV.
Use This CV Once
The CV is used for that check only. Other tools will start with a blank CV field and you can paste or upload the latest version when you need it. A CV supplied this way does not silently become your Working CV.
Know when to stop improving the CV
Strong enough to apply beats endlessly rewriting.
Once CV Alignment is strong and My Job Fixer finds no material CV changes remaining, it will tell you that CV optimisation is complete for that Target Job. Further rewrites may simply be different stylistic choices. At that point, move on to the application and interview rather than trying to force every score to 100.
